I am happy abot the fact that there is spiritual awakening happening on the Earth. And it is becoming evident to me that there is slowly but surely emerging the realisation that we'll have to go through some fundamental changes in our society if we don't want to destroy ourselves and the Earth that we enhabit. There are many paths to spiritual awakening but all changes start from within, not without. From my point of view there's nothing mystical about it. And there's no need to percieve this as something external, something that is happening to somebody. It's just the natural evolution of human beings. We are all living in a dream - isn't it obvoius? Just look at the complexity of the universe, the miracle of birth, the beauty and diversity of the nature. And on the other hand the external laws that humanity set and lives upon (greed, fear, hatred, wars, poverty, suffering). Do you really think this is as goot is it gets? The sleep is over. It is time to awake.

From the page: "As a Harvard-trained neuroanatomist, Jill Bolte Taylor has always known more about brains than most people. But when a brain hemorrhage triggered her own stroke, she suddenly had a front-row seat on the deterioration of the brain." This is just beautiful :)

From the page: "Numerous trends indicate that the industrial era is on a collision course with nature -- from ozone depletion to climate change, rainforest destruction, and environmental pollution. The global ecological crisis is compounded by social, economic, and spiritual challenges that are equally daunting. Is there a countervailing set of indicators that shows that we humans may be waking up to our predicament? Is there a set of trends that shows that we are beginning to consciously organize ourselves to respond to the ecological, social, and spiritual challenges we face?"
